On August 5, the National Development and Reform Commission issued the Notice on Announcement of Parity on-grid Projects of Wind Power and Photovoltaic Power Generation in 2020. In 2020, the installed capacity of parity on-grid projects of wind power was 11.3967 million kilowatts and that of parity on-grid projects of photovoltaic power generation was 33.0506 million kilowatts. 758,000 kilowatts projects of CNE was included. In addition to the bidding projects previously obtained, in 2020, CNE has obtained the indicators of 858,000 kilowatts of parity and bidding projects.

To meet the advent of parity on-grid of new energy, CNE prepared in advance and made the first parity project start and put into production in 2019, entering the parity era.
